The Classical Guitar syllabus offers high quality pieces from the guitar literature and its Technical Work section focuses particularly on developing fingerboard skills. Four works are required - a study and three pieces in baroque/classical, romantic and modern styles. Preparatory Levels 1 and 2 require two pieces only (own choice) plus Technical Work. The Guitar Syllabus is excellent preparation for specialist music school scholarships and contributes to a sound foundation for students considering tertiary music study.
