The Visionary Piano Syllabus is designed as a flexible examination with only two pieces required. The syllabus, an engaging alternative to the Classical Piano syllabus, contains favourite piano classics, with a sprinkling of works in an 'easy-listening' style. An own-choice option is available for candidates who enjoy pop styles, movie themes and jazz.
Ideal preparation for scholarships and for entry into tertiary music institutions worldwide.
The syllabus incorporates Preparatory levels 1 and 2, Preliminary, Grades 1 to 12, plus Fellowship Award.
Preparatory Level 1 and 2: Two pieces, Own Choice.
Preliminary to Fellowship; three pieces.
Pieces may be drawn from the ICME syllabus OR Own Choice.
If opting for Own Choice, the syllabus listings can be taken as representative of the required standard for each level.
